Kelly Lydick is a writer, editor,  photographer and intuitive.  She received her B.A. in Writing and Literature from Burlington College, Vermont, and her M.A. in Writing and Consciousness from the New College of California, San Francisco (now California Institute of Integral Studies).  In addition, Kelly is a certified Gateway Dreaming™ Coach.

Her photography has appeared in Vista Magazine, Photographer’s Forum Annual, Photographer’s Forum College Annual, and the Queen City Review.  Kelly also pioneered the “Storyboard Wall” photography project for the Arizona Lost Boys Center, featuring portraits of Sudanese refugees living in the United States, along with their stories of personal struggle and redemption.

Her writing has appeared in Twittering Machine, the Burlington College Poetry Journal, the New College Review, ditch: poetry that matters, shady side review, SwankSpeak! and Java Magazine.  She’s also had writing published in Gently Read Literature, Switched-on Gutenberg and Mission at Tenth. Her story Love is a Piece of Gravel Lodged in the Brain was nominated for the 2011 Dzanc Books “Best of the Web” and her work has also been featured on NPR and KQED’s The Writers’ Block under the theme “Silhouettes.”  She is the author of the chapbook We Once Were (Pure Carbon Publishing, AZ), and the experimental work, Mastering the Dream (Second Story Books, CA).
